About
I have devoted my career to treating children who are struggling with confidence, connection, or communication- whether that shows up with peers, in school, or at home. If you’re reading this because you have a child or teen who seems angry, anxious, avoidant, sad, or lonely…well, I’m glad you’re here.
One thing about me – perhaps the most important thing for you to know about me- is that I see every day of your child's life as an opportunity for growth that we can’t get back. As a parent of two myself, I know how quickly the years can pass by- but each year a child spends using unhealthy coping habits or experiencing poor self- esteem makes it that much harder to change down the road. With this in mind, my goal is for real progress and growth to occur.
I earned my Master’s degree in Family Therapy from Drexel University and am currently pursuing my LMFT licensure. I have spent much of my career working directly in homes and schools with high- needs children and teens, ages 2 to 22. My clients came to me with a wide range of diagnoses including autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, oppositional defiant disorder, attachment disorders, depression, and anxiety. On any given day, you could find me advocating for a child in an IEP meeting, collaborating with teachers, or supporting a child through a challenging emotional moment. After school, I joined children and their families in their homes to improve communication and rebuild relationship dynamics. This hands- on role was where both my identity and values as a therapist were forged.
Today in my outpatient practice I no longer travel to homes or classrooms, but I carry that same energy and perspective with me. I remain “all in”—heart and soul—with every child I work with. I bring the same dedication, creativity, and collaborative spirit that defined my work in the field- because to me, there is no better feeling than witnessing my clients transform their story and move forward with optimism and joy.
Here are some fun facts about me:
My family and I love all animals, and we foster orphaned kittens every year for the SPCA.
When I’m not working, I love watching documentaries, hanging out with my children, swimming, spending time with horses, and having friends over for bonfires, food and fun.
I love the beach and mountains equally, and being anywhere in nature with my people makes me happy.
